The Cyclone III device family makes it simpler for you to stick to your power budget with densities ranging from around 5,000 to 200,000 logic elements (LEs) and 0.5 Megabits (Mb) to 8 Mb of memory for less than 14 watt of static power consumption. The first security measures to be implemented at the silicon, software, and intellectual property (IP) levels on a low-power, high-functionality FPGA architecture are found in Cyclone III LS devices. The IP is shielded from tampering, reverse engineering, and cloning by this set of security mechanisms.
