Stratix GX FPGA Overview

The second-generation, transceiver-based Stratix GX FPGA series from Altera offers a low-risk solution for applications needing data transmission rates of up to 3.125 Gbps. The Stratix GX device family, which is based on Altera's high-performance Stratix architecture, facilitates the integration of high-bandwidth SOPC applications, which previously required the use of function-specific discrete transceiver devices.

The addition of yet another significant feature to Altera's programmable SOPC solution is represented by the Stratix GX device family.
