A single-chip, cost-effective solution for low-power, high-performance designs is provided by the Actel SX-A family of FPGAs. With support for 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V I/Os and fabrication on 0.22 mm / 0.25 mm CMOS antifuse technology, the SX-A is a flexible platform for integrating designs while significantly reducing time-to-market.
The device architecture of the SX-A family of devices offers a distinctive method for chip routing and module organization that satisfies performance demands and provides the best register/logic mix for a wide range of applications. The patented metal-to-metal programmable antifuse interconnect elements from Actel are used to connect these logic modules. When programmed, the antifuses, which are by default open circuit, create a stable low-impedance connection.
