For high-volume automotive applications, Xilinx XA Artix-7 (Automotive) FPGAs are designed for the lowest cost and power consumption with tiny form factors. Compared to the Spartan-6 series, designers have more logic per watt at their disposal. 


The XA Artix-7 FPGA redefines low-cost alternatives with more logic per watt thanks to its cutting-edge high-performance/low-power (HPL) 28 nm high-k metal gate (HKMG) production technology. A new class of high-throughput, low-cost automotive applications are made possible by the system's unmatched improvement in performance, which includes 52 Gb/s I/O bandwidth, 100,000 logic cell capacity, 264 GMAC/s DSP, and flexible built-in DDR3 memory interfaces. Numerous premium features, including integrated sophisticated Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) technology, are also available with XA Artix-7 FPGAs. Through the seamless integration of independent twin 12-bit, 1-MSPS, 17-channel analog-to-digital converters, analog is brought to the next level of integration. Most notably, with a maximum temperature of 125°C, XA Artix-7 FPGAs proudly meet the stringent specifications of the automotive grade.
