The Altera Quartus II design software, which offers HDL and schematic design entry, compilation and logic synthesis, full simulation and advanced timing analysis, and device programming, is compatible with MAX II devices and features a new, optional MAX+PLUS II look and feel. The Windows XP/2000/NT, Sun Solaris, Linux Red Hat v8.0, and HP-UX operating systems are all supported by the Quartus II software. Through the NativeLink interface, it also offers easy interaction with top EDA tools.
