EPM1270F256C5NAA design software is compatible with MAX II devices and incorporates a new, optional MAX+PLUS II look and feel. It enables HDL and schematic design entry, compilation and logic synthesis, full simulation and advanced timing analysis, and device programming. The Quartus II program supports the following operating systems: Windows XP/2000/NT, Sun Solaris, Linux Red Hat v8.0, and HP-UX. It also allows for simple interaction with leading EDA tools via the NativeLink interface.
