The EPM1270F256C5NRR design software has a new, optional MAX+PLUS II interface and is compatible with MAX II devices. It offers the ability to enter HDL and schematic designs, compile and synthesize logic, perform full simulation and sophisticated timing analysis, and program devices. Sun Solaris, Linux Red Hat v8.0, Windows XP/2000/NT, and HP-UX can all run the Quartus II software. Additionally, it enables straightforward NativeLink interface communication with the best EDA tools.
