Nonvolatile Flash technology from the A500K130-BG272ES combines the advantages of ASICs and programmable devices. By enabling designers to build high-density systems using current ASIC or FPGA design flows and tools, A500K130-BG272ES reduces time to production. Because the family provides affordable reprogrammable solutions, which are perfect for applications in the networking, telecom, computer, and consumer markets, ASIC migration is not required for any volume.
The A500K130-BG272ES consists of four devices with embedded two-port memory of up to 63k bits and system gates ranging from 100k to 475k. These memory blocks contain circuits to generate or check parity as well as hardwired FIFO circuitry. This increases flexibility and utility while reducing the number of external logic gates and their complexity.
