The EP4CGX15BF14I7N provides densities up to 20,060 logic elements (LEs) and up to 288 Kbits of RAM and is based on a 1.5-V, 0.13-m, all-layer copper SRAM technology. Due to characteristics like phase locked loops (PLLs) for clocking and a dedicated double data rate (DDR) interface to meet DDR SDRAM and fast cycle RAM (FCRAM) memory demands, the device offers a reasonably priced solution for data-path applications. The device includes a number of I/O protocols, including LVDS at data speeds up to 311 Mbps and 66 MHz, 32-bit peripheral component interface (PCI), for connecting to and maintaining ASSP and ASIC devices.
