Widely applicable in many different applications, LFMXO5-25-7BBG256I is optimized for bridging, I/O expansion, board control, and management. It is constructed utilizing low-power 28 nm FD-SOI technology on the Lattice Nexus FPGA platform. It offers tiny footprint packaging possibilities and combines the great flexibility of an FPGA with the low power and high reliability (thanks to the extremely low Soft Error Rate) of FD-SOI technology.
LFMXO5-25-7BBG256I is compatible with a number of interfaces, including SGMII (Gigabit Ethernet), LVDS, SLVS, subLVDS, MIPI D-PHY (CSI-2, DSI), and more. It has embedded flash memory for UFM and on-chip multi-boot.
LFMXO5-25-7BBG256I provides both ultra-quick configuration of its programmable sysI/OTM from on-chip Flash and fast configuration of its reconfigurable SRAM-based logic fabric. The MachXO5-NX security features include bitstream encryption, authentication, and password protection to protect user designs. Due to its extremely low SER, FD-SOI technology already has a high level of inherent reliability, but it also supports active reliability features like built-in frame-based SED/SEC (for SRAM-based logic fabric) and ECC (for EBR and LRAM). Each device has an integrated ADC that can be used for system monitoring purposes.
