The AMD Xilinx XC7Z014S-1CLG400I is a Zynq-7000 SoC FPGA with 65K logic cells and a single ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore™ with CoreSight™. Its speed range is 667MHz, and its temperature range is -40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (TJ). The hardware consists of 125 I/Os, 256 KB of RAM, and no flash memory. Its connectivity options include CANbus, EBI/EMI, Ethernet, I2C, MMC/SD/SDIO, SPI, UART/USART, and USB OTG. It is intended for usage in MCUs and FPGAs. The device comes in a 400-CSPBGA (17x17) package and has additional peripherals like DMA. Custom software and logic can be implemented in the PL and PS using the Zynq-7000 architecture. It enables the execution of distinctive and differentiating system functions. Due to their constrained I/O bandwidth, latency, and power budgets, two-chip systems (such as an ASSP with an FPGA) cannot achieve the performance levels possible with the PS and PL integrated together.
