Xilinx XC7Z045-1FF900I from AMD is an integrated circuit which fits into the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) category. The Zynq®-7000 family is built on a foundation of the Xilinx SoC architecture. These products combine a feature-rich dual-core or single-core ARM® CortexTM-A9 processor system (PS) with a 28 nm Xilinx programmable logic (PL) chip. The PS's brains are made up of ARM Cortex-A9 CPUs, which also contain on-chip memory, external memory interfaces, and a variety of peripheral connectivity interfaces. The Zynq-7000 family maintains the flexibility and scalability of an FPGA while offering the performance, power, and usability often associated with ASIC and ASSPs. Designers can target both high-performance and cost-sensitive applications from a single platform by using the diversity of Zynq-7000 family devices and conventional methods.
