A3P400-FG484 Overview

A3P400-FG484 provides performance, density, and features above and those of the ProASICPLUS series. A3P400-FG484 has the benefit of being a safe, low-power, single-chip solution with Instant On thanks to nonvolatile storage technology. Reprogrammable A3P400-FG484 provides advantages in time to market at ASIC-level unit costs. These properties make it possible for designers to use current ASIC or FPGA design flows and tools to produce high-density systems.

A3P400-FG484 devices provide clock conditioning circuitry based on an integrated phase-locked loop (PLL), as well as 1 kbit of on-chip, reprogrammable, nonvolatile FlashROM storage. Both PLL and RAM support is absent from the A3P015 and A3P030 devices.

A3P400-FG484 supports up to 144 bits of genuine dual-port SRAM, up to 300 user I/Os, and up to 1 million system gates. ARM Cortex-M1 is supported by A3P400-FG484 hardware. The Microsemi ordering numbers for the ARM-capable devices start with M1A3P (Cortex-M1) and do not allow AES decryption.
