The ground-breaking 5M2210ZF256I5N design incorporates a wide range of logic elements (LEs grouped in logic array blocks (LABs)), memory resources (non-volatile flash and LE RAM), global signals (clocks or control signals), and a large number of user I/Os. To enhance performance and reduce power consumption, the MultiTrack interconnect uses the most effective, direct route from input to logic to output. The 5M2210ZF256I5N has MultiVolt I/O capabilities, which allow different I/O banks to function with different I/O voltages and connect to other devices without any problems. The device core is powered by a single 1.8-V external supply (VCCINT), allowing CPLD operation with minimum dynamic and standby power. The higher density items have four I/O banks, while the lower density devices only have two.
